Marisol Muñoz-Kiehne is a well-known and respected clinical psychologist in the Bay Area. Her work has earned official recognitions (such as the Most Influential Hispanics in the San Francisco Bay Area award in 2006, the United Safe Schools Novato and the Wells Fargo Bank Amigos awards in 2007, the Magnificent Women of Marin award in 2008, the Champions for Change award in 2008 and 2009, the MACSA’s Most Influential Latinos of Silicon Valley nomination in 2009, the Marin Community Clinics’ Champion for Children award, the Family Service Agency Spirit of the Family, and the San Andreas Regional Center’s Service Above Self awards in 2010), and the trust and appreciation of innumerable families.

Marisol Muñoz-Kiehne, PhD
Dr. Muñoz-Kiehne earned a BA and MA at the University of Puerto Rico, and an MS and PhD at Florida State University. Currently, she serves as Clinical Psychologist and Associate Director of Clinical Training at Marin County’s Division of Community Mental Health in California, where she provides psychological services, supervises clinicians in training, and coordinates a parenting education program. She has taught graduate psychology students as an adjunct faculty member at John F. Kennedy University, New College of California, and San Francisco State University, and has served as consultant for clinicians serving the Latino community at agencies such as Full Circle Family Institute and Family Service Agency. She is a frequent speaker and master of ceremonies at conferences and events for parents, child care providers, educators, and clinicians.
