NETA in the Community

Summary

Healthy foods should be accessible and affordable to everyone. The Nutrition Education Training Academy (UC-NETA) program is working in partnership with a number of other local agencies to improve access to healthy and affordable food to our children and families residing in Oakland.

NETA in the Community:

• Cooking Demonstrations at Oakland Fresh School Produce Markets
• Store Tours with the Network for a Healthy California Regional Campaigns
• Community Fairs and Events (including Science in the Park, Head Start's Week of the Young Child & Food Day)
